How to Make a Mango Mud Mask

By Aniela / May 17, 2010

Mango mud masks can get quite expensive at a spa, but all you need is a few ingredients and you can make your very own mango mud mask at home. Mango is an excellent skin saver as it contains beta-carotene which your body then transforms in vitamin A. And, if you didn't know, vitamin A is a must-have for perfect skin. So here's how to make your very own at-home mango mud mask!

What You'll Need:

two tablespoons fresh mango

2 tablespoons almonds

2 tablespoons oatmeal

heavy whipping cream

In a food processor, mix together almonds and oatmeal until fine. Peel the mango, cut it into half and save the other half. Cut one half of the mango into 4 pieces and add to the food processor mixing until smooth.

Add the heavy whipping cream to the food processor and mix again for about a minute or until smooth.

Now your mango mud mask is done! Just apply to a clean face and let sit for 15 minutes until dry. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Save the rest of the mask in an airtight container in the fridge.
